How did this tool do?
Turning an SVG into a JPG
JPG is the choice when you need a small file that any app accepts and transparency doesn't matter, for example an illustration on a white page or a chart for an email.
The SVG is drawn at the width you pick, from 512 to 4096 pixels. Since JPG can't store transparency, any empty areas are filled with a colour you choose, white by default.
JPG compression can leave faint blotches around the sharp edges and flat colours typical of vector graphics. For logos, icons and text-heavy graphics, PNG usually looks cleaner.

Converting formats, answered
What happens to the SVG's transparent areas?
They're filled with a solid colour, white by default, because JPG can't store transparency. Convert to PNG to keep it.
SVG to JPG or SVG to PNG?
PNG for logos, icons and anything with sharp edges or transparency. JPG for detailed illustrations where a smaller file matters more.
How large will the JPG be?
The width you choose, from 512 to 4096 pixels, with the height following the SVG's proportions.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The conversion runs in your browser, so the files never leave your device and it keeps working with your connection off.
