Does this work on any photo?
It works best on a plain, even background such as a logo on white, a signature on paper, or a product on a studio backdrop. For busy backgrounds, an AI cut-out tool is coming soon.
Why did parts of my subject disappear?
They're close to the background colour. Keep “Only from the edges” on and lower the tolerance.
Why is the file saved as PNG?
JPG can't store transparency. PNG, WebP and AVIF can — Auto picks PNG, which works everywhere.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, so your images never leave your device — not even for a moment.
