Questions, answered

Which style is safest?

Black. It replaces the pixels completely. Blur and pixelation hide detail well at these strengths, but only a solid box is guaranteed to be unrecoverable.

Is the hidden information really gone?

Yes. The saved file is a new image made from the redacted pixels, so there are no layers to peel back. Metadata isn't copied either.

Can I redact several images?

Yes. Each image keeps its own boxes — tap a file name to draw on it.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser, so your images never leave your device — not even for a moment.
