Good to know
Questions, answered
Is generated alt text good enough on its own?
Treat it as a first draft. It describes what's visible, but good alt text also reflects why the image is on the page — so read it and adjust.
How long is the first run?
The model is about 230 MB, so the first download takes a few minutes on a normal connection. After that it's cached and works offline.
Does it help SEO?
Alt text helps search engines understand images and is required for accessibility. Accurate, specific descriptions matter more than keywords.
Is my image sent to a server?
No. The AI model itself is downloaded to your browser the first time you use the tool, then everything runs on your device — the image never leaves it. After that first download the tool works offline.
